There are 15 insurance companies offering 31 separate drug plans. Plans range from the cheapest $18.50 to $119.70 per month. Three of the companies from 2012 are not offering plans for 2013, Medco, CCRX and Health Net. Four new companies have entered the arena for 2013, they are Destiny Health, Express Scripts, Health Markets and Smart D. Please review your plans 2013 information carefully to see if you need to make a switch for the coming year. Appointments can now be made with Julie Hilbert by calling 929-3521. Medicare Advantage Plans for 2013 – There are four companies offering 13 Medicare Advantage plans some with prescription drug coverage some without. Anthem BC/BS Preferred Select plan will not be offered in 2013, the Core plan will still remain. All of the Network as well as Humana plans will be offered again in 2013 and the AARP endorsed UHC plan has remained the same as in 2012. Premiums as well as maximum out of pocket limits have changed so please make sure you review your materials.
