Julie Hilbert Visits...

SENIOR MOMENT UPDATE

Fake Publishers Clearing House Letters – Scammers in several states including Wisconsin are telling their targets they have won prizes in the publishers clearing house sweepstakes. The targets are sent a notice of the win accompanied by a check which supposedly represents part of their winnings. They’re told to deposit the check and send back a smaller amount via western union as an activation fee which will let them collect the rest of their prize money. BUT, the letter is not from PCH, there is no prize money and check isn’t good. If you are a victim of this scam contact the FDL Police Dept. or Julie Hilbert at 929-3521.
