SENIOR MOMENT UPDATE

GREAT NEWS!!!!! WISCONSIN SENIORCARE PROGRAM HAS EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 31, 2012!!!

SeniorCare is the Wisconsin Prescription Drug Program for those residents age 65 or older who meet certain income guidelines. The maximum yearly gross income to qualify is $25,993 for an individual and $34,969 for a couple. Anyone over those income limits still can carry the SeniorCare program as creditable coverage for Medicare Part D. If someone does not take prescription drugs or very few or do not want to sign up for a Medicare Part D plan, they can sit on Wisconsin SeniorCare until the next open enrollment (November 15 through December 31). If you have any questions about SeniorCare or need help filling out the application form you can contact the Department of Senior Services, Benefit Specialist, Julie Hilbert at 929-3521.
