SENIOR MOMENT UPDATE


Free Dental Care Event in Wausau- Free dental care days in Wausau June 24 & 25th. Services available first come, first served to adults and children in need. No appointments will be made. Services provided free of charge regardless of income. Dentists and other dental specialists will be volunteering their services over the two day period. Cleanings, fillings, extractions and limited treatment partials will be offered. Located at the Greenheck Field House 6400 Alderson Street in Wausau. Starting from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Voter ID Bill – Gov. Walker signed a bill on Wednesday May 25th that will require voters in the State to show photo ID when they go to the polls. For those that do not have an ID there are options in FDL County to obtain photo identification.
• Department of Motor Vehicles
o Any age, must appear in person
o $28.00 for original or renewals
o Must provide certified copy of birth certificate, passport, expired drivers license, social security card with signature and proof of residency.

Loan Closet (wheelchairs, walkers, bath benches, commodes can be used up to 6 months at no charge). Anyone that has unused items looking to donate can also contact the loan closet. For more information contact them at 929-3085.

Senior Pass
The Senior Pass is a lifetime entrance pass to most national parks, monuments, historic sites, recreation areas, and national wildlife refuges that charge an entrance fee. It also provides a 50% discount of federal use fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, parking, boat launching and cave tours. There is a one-time $10.00 processing charge and available to persons 62 or older. Contact: Horicon National Wildlife Refuge 920-287-2658.
